This is the last of the Community of Concern forums are scheduled for the 2009-2010 school year.   The forum begins at 7 p.m. in the Corcoran Theater. This award-winning parent education program addresses the difficult issue of adolescent substance abuse.  It is a great opportunity to learn about the problem and how it impacts your child.  The forum has expert speakers on the physical, legal and psychological consequences for our young people if they begin using substances.  You will hear worthwhile parenting tips, how Salpointe deals with the issue and have the chance to begin networking with other parents as we all work together to keep our children safe.   The forums are mandatory for all Salpointe parents.  In order for your student to attend the Winter Formal (which everyone wants to attend) or the Junior–Senior Prom, a parent from the family must have come to a forum prior to the event.  We ask that all parents attend at least one forum during their student’s time at Salpointe For more information click here.
