Salpointe’s “BIG YARD SALE” is coming.  Mark your calendars now for Saturday, March 6, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. when Salpointe’s Class of 2012 “12Together” hosts the first school-wide yard sale with Salpointe classes, clubs and teams participating in this event. 

Come and find that one-of-a-kind pair of bookends you have been looking for in our Home Goods section, or that extra pair of hedge clippers in our Outdoor and Garden Center.  Furniture, appliances – large and small - clothes, books, toys; come and check out the bargains.

Enjoy some delicious fresh brewed coffee, and for lunch a hamburger or hot dog. 

Don’t forget to venture into the spectacular shopping experience of the Treasure Boutique in Alumni Hall.  This area is a treasure of the best that was donated, and includes a bevy of locally owned stores and boutiques, such as Cele Peterson’s, Cry Baby Boutique, Rockin Queen Boutique, Sigis Boutique, Skin Spectrum, Spiritualitee just to mention a few.

Proceeds from this event sponsored by "12Together" go towards the Class of 2012 Endowment Fund to be presented to Salpointe in May of 2012.  This endowment was started by four very driven and dedicated students,  Lauren Amos, Jason Azur, Carly Cutshaw and Marti Sollenberger, and has a lofty goal of $20,000.

So please come by on Saturday, March 6 and support the Class of 2012 as they host the “BIG YARD SALE.”

Remember, one person’s trash may be another person’s treasure.

And, if you are cleaning out your closets and want to donate any items to this great event, we have the following dates scheduled for drop off: 

8 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the parking lot south of the football field, look for the mini mobil storage unit.
