Ms. Sullivan  is responsible for communicating and implementing the Catholic philosophy and mission of Salpointe Catholic High School. She is responsible for strategic planning, visioning, development and financial management of the school.  The President is appointed by the Carmelite Board of Members and reports to the Salpointe Board of Directors.

Sr. Helen Timothy is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the school including instruction, faculty, student services, campus ministry and athletics.  The Principal is appointed by the Board of Directors in consultation with the President and reports to the President.  520-547-5904

Assistant Principal for Faculty Development and Supervision, Mr. Keith Gibalski

Mr. Gibalski is responsible for the education, supervision and professional development of Salpointe’s faculty.  He is a long time member of the math department and teaches statistics and economics.  The Assistant Principal for Faculty Development and Supervision is appointed by and reports directly to the Principal. 520-547-4467

Ms. Roll is responsible for coordinating and directing departments in the school that affect student life including counseling, student activities, discipline, scheduling, ministry, admission and registration. She is a Salpointe alumna from the Class of 1988. The Assistant Principal for Student Services reports directly to the Principal. 520-547-4332

Ms. Russell is responsible for working with the Salpointe community to build and sustain strong bonds of support for the school. She acquires resources for the present and future stability of the school, for financial assistance for needy students, and for the stewardship and renovation of the present and planned facilities. She directs, builds and coordinates all fundraising as well as alumni, community and public relations of the school, organizing activities to meet the philosophy and goals of the school. She is a member of the Salpointe Class of 1999. Ms. Russell is appointed by and reports directly to the President. 520-547-1952

Director of Athletics, Mr. Phil Gruensfelder

Mr. Gruensfelder is responsible for managing the athletic program both extra and intra mural for the school. He provides leadership, direction, and interpretation of the current rules, policies, procedures, and mission of the school and of the Arizona Interscholastic Association. He represents Salpointe at all meetings of the AIA, Southern Region, and 5A Division. He acts as a liaison among the faculty, coaches, parents, and administration, facilitating disputes and interpreting and enforcing all policies of the school. Mr. Becker is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all programs within Campus Ministry including Days of Recollection, Kairos retreats, Liturgies, school prayer and sacramental preparation. Mr. Becker is appointed by and reports directly to the Principal. 520-547-3338

The Director of Counseling is responsible for managing the counseling department in student development, course scheduling, student registration, college readiness, and intervention. He collaborates with administration in the implementation of student academic guidelines. He guides the counseling department in the sub-coordination of the PSAT, ACT and SAT assessments and  coordinates the “Community of Concern” parent forum and academic recognition ceremonies.  Mr. Evans is part of the regular sophomore – senior rotation.  The Director of Counseling reports to the Assistant Principal for Student Services.

Director of Operations, Mr. Greg Aiken
B.A. Marquette University (Teaching of Philosophy)
Mr. Aiken is responsible for overseeing the campus property and facilities management in the daily operation of the school. He represents the school assisting in design, renovation and construction on campus in conjunction with architects, engineers and contractors. He oversees the cafeteria and security team.
