Thank you for your continuing support as we struggle through this pandemic challenge together. We at Salpointe are grateful for your patience and understanding. We will continue to make decisions that safeguard the health and safety of our community of students, teachers, staff and families.
Please know that Salpointe leadership is fully aware of the spike in COVID cases in Pima County. We are in almost daily communication with the Pima County Health Department. So far, our school day mitigation protocols, which are in sync with county and state guidelines, have proven effective. While we have experienced student positive tests, none of the transmission has occurred on campus. Our goal is to remain in the hybrid mode for as long and as safely as we can, again prioritizing the holistic health and safety of our community.
Thank you for encouraging our Lancer students to make good, healthy decisions especially during the 16 hours/day (or 24 hours/day for at home learners) when they are not on campus. The decisions they make may directly translate into whether or not we can remain in hybrid learning!
To best accommodate our families, students will be divided up alphabetically for hybrid learning starting Monday, September 21. Students with a last name beginning with A through L will be on campus Mondays and Tuesdays. Students with a last name beginning with M through Z will be on campus Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will do our best to accommodate students with different last names living in the same household. Please contact Jeff Mounts at email@example.com with questions.
