Distance Learning Extended Through February 15
Salpointe has made the difficult decision to extend at-home distance learning through February 15. Please know that the health and safety of our community is our greatest concern as we navigate this pandemic. Please click here to read the letter
emailed to students and parents earlier this week with additional information.
Parent Resource: Using Pear Deck
Parents, you may notice that many of your student’s teachers are using Pear Deck as a tool to help facilitate engagement and learning in the remote classroom. You may see your student working in Pear Deck, and if need to assist with their assignment, here is a helpful guide for you in English
If you still need to take or retake your yearbook photo, join us in the Library on February 9 or February 10 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please enter through the Glenn Gate Entrance. Masks and social distancing will be enforced while waiting to take your photo.
If you cannot attend these dates, contact Rembrandt Photography at 520-326-5499 to set up an appointment to have your photo taken. Students must have an appointment before visiting the studio. Your photo must be taken before Rodeo Break (February 25, 2021) to be included in the yearbook.
Seniors: if you have not done so already, contact Rembrandt Photography to make an appointment for your senior portraits before February 25. To see photo proofs, email Rembrandt Photography at email@example.com

. Contact Mr. Shinaberry at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Personalized Yearbook Tributes
Celebrate your senior's graduation with a full-color personalized tribute in the 2020-2021 Horizons Yearbook. One-quarter, one-half or full page Senior Tributes are available for purchase. The deadline for submission is Sunday February 14, 2021. Payment and design must be completed before we can accept the tribute for the yearbook.
Find a recent formal photo for the large photo on the page and then other images such as: baby, sports, hobbies, family or friends. Depending on the size of the tribute your personalized message will be approximately 40-75 words. The yearbook will be distributed in May, so this is a perfect opportunity to give your graduating senior your best wishes and congratulations. To preserve publication unity, the theme and fonts of the book will be carried throughout. There are pre-designed templates for you to choose from and create the perfect tribute.

Students, please do not park in the Weight Room parking lot, as this lot is designated for our coaches. Parking is available in the QB Club lot. Thank you for your cooperation.
Spectators at Winter Sports
As our winter sports begin (basketball and soccer), please understand that the recommendation from the AIA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee is not to allow spectators at these events. We will adhere to this recommendation and if the health metrics improve, we will make adjustments. In the meantime, we are very fortunate to have cameras in our gym and stadium, and all of our home games can be viewed live streamed through the NFHS Network.
Log onto www.nfhsnetwork.com
. Type in Salpointe Catholic at the top of the page. It will take you to our page and have a list of our events that are being live streamed. Click on the game you want to watch and subscribe. It is $10.99 per month or $69.99 for the year. We look forward to watching our student-athletes compete!
