Salpointe Thrift Store
The Salpointe Thrift Store is in need of gently-used household goods, clothing and furniture donations. Proceeds from the Thrift Store benefit Salpointe Catholic High School. The store is located at 1705 E. Ft. Lowell in Tucson (520-327-5576) and is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Donations are accepted during store hours. Pick-up service for large items is available by calling the store at 520-327-5576.
Chromebook Repair Information
The Chromebook Repair Guide is a helpful resource for parents and students who need assistance with troubleshooting and repairing student-owned devices. This guide not only provides step-by-step instructions for fixing common issues but also includes information on how to send your Chromebook to Dell for repair if necessary (usually free of cost). Whether it's a problem with the screen, keyboard, or operating system, the guide can help you identify the issue and find the appropriate solution. please read the guide carefully and follow the instructions closely to ensure that the repair process is successful. Community Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity
Saturday, May 13 is the National Association of Letter Day Carriers’ Food Drive, the largest food drive for the Community Food Bank. The drive occurs in 12 post offices in the Tucson area, as well as in Nogales and Green Valley. They are looking for volunteers (ages 12+) to help.
The time shifts are from approximately 3:00 p.m,/4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and they are asking that volunteers commit to the full time slot to ensure there is enough support for each site. If this is something that you can assist with, please email Anel at
PACC Foster/Volunteer Opportunities
Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals who are interested in giving back to their community by volunteering or fostering for the PACC animals.
Volunteering and fostering for Pima Animal Care Center is a rewarding experience that not only benefits the animals but also provides a valuable learning experience for students. By giving their time and attention, students can gain valuable skills in animal care, teamwork, and communication while contributing to the greater good of their community.
Students from all backgrounds and levels of experience can participate. Volunteering or fostering for Pima Animal Care Center can be a great addition to a resume or college application. PACC has multiple different avenues for students to help! From Marketing assistance to creating enrichment items for our animals, there's have something for everyone. Note: Fostering is FREE and PACC will provide you with food and other supplies.

Seniors Receiving Awards
Lilly Martinez-Ross '23 was presented her full tuition Army ROTC scholarship from Captain Hernandez from the University of Arizona Army ROTC detachment. She will attend the University of Arizona and plans to go into Army Intelligence when she graduates.
Brice Campbell '23 was awarded the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship from the Elks Lodge #385.
Emilio Lizarraga '23 was awarded a Rotary Scholarship from the Casas Adobes Rotary Club.

TCC Commencement Info for Families of Seniors
As we look forward to Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2023 at the Tucson Convention Center, please be aware of the following information regarding security and safety protocols at the TCC. Please pass this information along to your guests, so they are prepared for extra time through security screening, and that they are aware of the clear bag policy. Additionally, TCC prohibits bringing helium balloons, air horns, or bottled water through security. Complete information from the TCC website is linked here.

ASU, NAU and the University of Arizona teamed up to create two informative videos specifically about the college admissions process to help Juniors navigate this exciting time.
Getting Ahead: Prepare now for your senior year. Hear from admission professionals at your three in-state universities to get advice on preparing for your senior year and college applications.
Paying for College: Understanding financial aid and scholarships. Attend this session to hear from your in-state universities about paying for college, ways to earn merit-based scholarships and understanding college attainment programs at each university. Please note: a new application must be submitted each school year. Although applications are submitted through FAIR, all funds come from Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO).

AAA Scholarship - AAA offers Low Income Corporate awards that can now be combined with other financial need based funding. Please apply immediately at The deadline to apply is May 22, 2023.

STEM Arthropods Summer Camp for 7th & 8th Graders
The Arthropods STEM Summer Camp is taking place on the Salpointe campus this summer for rising 7th and 8th graders. Salpointe faculty members will lead students on a fascinating journey in the study of ecology, evolution and behavior; mechanics and engineering; and biotechnology. Camp schedule is Monday, July 17 - Thursday, July 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday, July 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registration fee includes lunch Monday-Thursday. Due to costs increasing from distributors, beginning May 30th, standard, short-sleeved uniform polos price will increase from $17 to $20. Please stop by and stock up before the increase from our current inventory.
If you have a Gift Card from last year or older, please be sure to redeem your balance by the end of this month. New Gift Cards are available and make great gifts! Students that have ordered club shirts are reminded to pick up their orders in the Spirit Store as soon as possible.
