The University of Arizona has an exciting upcoming opportunity! On Thursday, November 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. students and their families are welcome to join admissions at Old Main for an Open House event. Students will learn more about the University of Arizona, can receive help with their application, take a campus tour and connect with Housing & Residential Life! Grand Canyon University is hosting a Financial Aid Info Night on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Tucson Antelope Reception Center, 3500 N. Campbell Ave. Open to all Salpointe families, the info session will help families understand college finances and how to prepare to fill out the financial aid application (FAFSA) which opens in December. It’s college application season, and already 132 Seniors have been admitted to the University of Arizona, 35 to Arizona State University and 45 to Northern Arizona University! Check your applicant portals and emails: Portals are where colleges keep applicant information and you can monitor your application status and view the final admission decision. If you miss a request for more information or a document, it could jeopardize your admission chances, so make it a habit to check regularly.

Students are required to provide the Attendance Office (Student Services Center) with notification via note or phone call from the parent/guardian prior to leaving campus. Students MAY NOT leave campus without clearance by the Health or Attendance Office. Parents may not remove a student from campus without prior notification to the Attendance Office. Students being picked up with a dismissal slip should report to the Attendance Office (Student Services Center). Violation of this policy may result in an unexcused absence and disciplinary consequences may be imposed.

 

All early dismissal requests will be retrieved from voicemail. Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.
