2nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
You’re invited to celebrate a very merry and bright night! Wednesday, November 29 in Junior Patio from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Enjoy cookies, hot cocoa, candy canes, caroling and pictures with Santa! Food will be available for purchase from Fiamme Pizza and House of Brats. All current Salpointe families, regardless of their faith traditions, are invited to this FREE event.
University of Arizona Open House 
The University of Arizona has an exciting upcoming opportunity! On Thursday, November 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. students and their families are welcome to join admissions at Old Main for an Open House event. Students will learn more about the University of Arizona, can receive help with their application, take a campus tour and connect with Housing & Residential Life! Please register in advance for this event.
Therapy Dog Visits
Lola the therapy dog will be visiting campus the following days/times. Come get some puppy love!

Enrollment open for Spring Break 2025
We are excited to announce that enrollment is open for our excursion to Costa Rica for Spring Break, 2025! If you sign up by midnight, November 10, you will receive an early enrollment discount of $200; you can reserve your spot for only $95. Digital Cameras and Gear Needed
Do you have any digital camera gear gathering dust under a bed or in the closet? We’re on a mission to expand our inventory of digital cameras and lenses. FAFSA Information Night
Grand Canyon University is hosting a Financial Aid Info Night on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Tucson Antelope Reception Center, 3500 N. Campbell Ave. Open to all Salpointe families, the info session will help families understand college finances and how to prepare to fill out the financial aid application (FAFSA) which opens in December. College Acceptance & Admissions Updates
It’s college application season, and already 132 Seniors have been admitted to the University of Arizona, 35 to Arizona State University and 45 to Northern Arizona University! Check your applicant portals and emails: Portals are where colleges keep applicant information and you can monitor your application status and view the final admission decision. If you miss a request for more information or a document, it could jeopardize your admission chances, so make it a habit to check regularly.

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
Students are required to provide the Attendance Office (Student Services Center) with notification via note or phone call from the parent/guardian prior to leaving campus. Students MAY NOT leave campus without clearance by the Health or Attendance Office. Parents may not remove a student from campus without prior notification to the Attendance Office. Students being picked up with a dismissal slip should report to the Attendance Office (Student Services Center). Violation of this policy may result in an unexcused absence and disciplinary consequences may be imposed.
All early dismissal requests will be retrieved from voicemail. Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.

Shop for a Cause and Support the Gala
Join us at Embellish on Thursday, November 16th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. for a fun evening of shopping in support of the Salpointe Education Foundation Gala. Come mingle with friends and enjoy a cocktail and light snacks! Edd Ruiz (past parent and SCEF Member) and Gabi Ruiz '11 will be doing a floral arranging demonstration to help you get your table ready for the holidays. Embellish will be open for late night shopping and 20% of the proceeds will benefit Salpointe's Wellness program.

Students and parents, please send in your Homecoming pictures! Yearbook is in need of dance pictures specifically, but all other Homecoming-related pictures are welcome. Your help would be greatly appreciated, and this is an opportunity to capture those special moments for posterity!
