General Announcements

Alumni Council Theater Event
Join us for the annual Alumni Council Theater Event on Saturday, April 13 at 12:30 p.m. The matinee performance of "Into the Woods" by Salpointe Productions is sure to be an entertaining afternoon. Ticket purchase includes entry to "Into the Woods" produced by Salpointe Productions Thespian Troupe 5370. Enjoy movie snacks, beverages, beer and wine included with the purchase of this special event ticket. SCEF Moonlight Roundup Gala Donations and Tickets

Career Exploration for High School Students
Health Care: Students interested in a career in health care can attend an upcoming evening of career exploration at Banner South Campus on Wednesday, May 8th. Learn more about the Pathways To Success event here.
Service Academies: Congressman Juan Ciscomani is hosting a Service Academy Day on Saturday, April 20th, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. to learn about the application and nomination process. All students at these institutions of higher education receive full tuition, room and board and books at no cost. Representatives from the federal service academies will be available to answer questions.
Engineering: Join NAU for a fun day of exploration and discovery at Engineering Expo Day. The event will take place on June 10th at the College of Engineering at Northern Arizona University. Advanced registration is required.
AP Mathematics Practice Exam Day
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the CRR will host the 17th annual Advanced Placement (AP) Mathematics Practice Exam Day. Students taking the AP Calculus and Statistics exams can participate in this opportunity to take a full practice exam and learn how the exam is scored. At the end of the day, every student will know their score (1-5) on the practice exam they took. This event is FREE and hybrid, making it accessible to all AP students in Arizona.
AI and Social Science Summer Program by Stanford Alumni: Inspirit AI is a 25-hour project-based AI program taught by Stanford graduates that introduces middle and high school students to fundamental AI concepts to build interdisciplinary AI projects across disciplines. In 2024, the team is excited to announce new projects such as Generating Language Safely with ChatGPT. No CS experience is necessary to apply and priority applications are due soon. Apply here.

A Night Under the Stars -- Prom Information
Get ready for A Night Under the Stars Prom!
What: Prom! A night of desserts, dancing and memories.
When: Sunday, April 28th, from 8:00-11:00 p.m. *Doors open at 8:00 p.m. *No entry past 9:00 p.m.
Where: Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Kiva Ballroom *7000 N. Resort Dr. Tucson, Arizona, 85750
Who: Open to all Juniors and Seniors and APPROVED guests. Click HERE for the Guest Permission Form. Guest forms are due to Mrs. Lechuga in room 412 or the Student Services Center by the end of the day on April 24th.

Senior Slideshow
Attention Class of 2024 Parents and Students - It is time to send in your photos for the Senior Slideshow for our banquet at the end of the year. We are asking you to submit three photos: a baby photo, a high quality senior portrait or photo and a photo of you with friends.
Please submit your photos to this form.
The deadline for these submissions is Friday, April 26th.
Senior College Planning
Keep your college counselor updated with all college decisions. Remember to 1.) mark your acceptances, denials and wait-list decisions in Scoir, and 2.) send a copy of college decisions and academic scholarships to Mrs. McCall or This information is tracked closely and needed prior to graduation! Get ready for Lancer College Day on May 1st - Wear jeans or shorts and a T-shirt or sweatshirt representing your future college.

Fine Arts

Spring Fine Arts Festival
Join us for an evening of music and art for the annual Spring Fine Arts Festival on May 1, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. In the Corcoran Theater enjoy Symphonic Band, Maroon and Gold Jazz Band, Lancer String Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and Concert Choir. In the Stevens Gallery enjoy the visual art of 2D, 3D students and Advanced Photography. Come see what our award winning creative and expressive Lancers have been up to! On May 4th, there will be gallery hours from noon-4:00 p.m. for visitors to enjoy the Fine Arts Festival visual art. View flyer here.
Into the Woods Spring Musical
Please come and support our Lancer actors and actresses as they present the musical Into The Woods. Salpointe students get in free. Tickets are available from General Admission Adult is $10.00, Children and non-Salpointe students are $8.00, Premium reserved Adult seating is $25.00, Premium reserved seating for Children and non-Salpointe students is $15.00. Performance dates are: April 12 at 7 p.m., April 13 at 7 p.m., April 14 at 2 p.m., April 19 at 7 p.m., April 20 at 7 p.m. and April 21 at 2 p.m. in Corcoran Theater. Women's Basketball All Arizona Academic Recognition
Women's basketball had nine of our Lady Lancers receive All Arizona Academic recognition. This an award for Arizona high school basketball athletes that maintain a 3.8 GPA or higher. Congratulations to the following: Allison Even, Sienna Espinosa, Taliyah Henderson, Ary Kollasch, AJ Lual, Jayci Nelson, Jolee Nelson, Naomi Schoenhage and Hannah Williams. Congratulations!

Have a birthday or celebration coming up? Spirit Store Gift Cards are available and make great gifts. If you have a Gift Card from last year or older, please be sure to redeem your balance by the end of this month.
Students that have ordered team or club shirts are reminded to pick up their orders in the Spirit Store as soon as possible. Boys and Girls tennis teams have many items not picked up.

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
Attendance Line number is 520-327-1990.
Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. All early dismissal requests are retrieved from voicemail. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.
Used Truck Needed
