Meghan's Story

Scholarship funds enabled me to be my best while at Salpointe Catholic High School and opened so many doors in college. This is my first year at Barrett Honors College, but the credits I received from my AP classes at Salpointe put me in the second semester of my sophomore year. I’m currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics and plan to attend law school. These career goals would not be nearly as obtainable without the assistance I received while at Salpointe.

There were many extracurricular events I took part in during high school, including the Salsa Club, which opened my eyes to Salsa Dance during my freshman year. I then went on to instruct over 200 dancers in a Salsa Dance class at the University of Arizona while I was still a junior at Salpointe. This also lined me up to be able to take Ballroom 3 my freshman year at Barrett Honors College, all while dancing competitively in West Coast Swing. My college life is very well rounded between dancing, academics and serving as the Student Council Director. I credit a lot of that to the education and work ethic I obtained while studying at Salpointe.

I am beyond grateful for my four years at Salpointe. Our days that began in prayer always helped keep me centered and focused on what really matters, and I will always go through life with Salpointe values.
