Salpointe Welcomes Home Alumni at Homecoming 2019

Salpointe Catholic welcomed home hundreds of alumni for our annual Homecoming Weekend on October 18-20, 2019.

Salpointe celebrated the classes of 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999 and 2009 over the weekend. Lancers began the celebrations at Sal’s Diner and Cantina on Friday evening and enjoyed a BBQ dinner as they reunited with friends and family members. Many alumni then attended the Salpointe football game and walked on the field in front of thousands of Lancer students and fans. View photos of the Friday night festivities here.

On Saturday night, the reunion classes gathered at off-campus locations to continue sharing memories and celebrating their time as Lancers.

Homecoming Weekend concluded on Sunday morning with our annual Mass and Breakfast, led by Fr. Emanuel (Manu) Franco-Gomez, O.Carm.

In addition to Homecoming festivities, Salpointe also hosted the Aspire Capital Campaign Sneak Peek. Guests were able to tour the facilities that had been renovated as part of the Aspire campaign and also see the progress being made on the Stearns Center for the Arts, the new home for Drama, Band, Choir, Dance, 2D and 3D Art. This $10M campaign will forever change Salpointe’s campus and benefit the lives of Lancers for generations to come. Please click here to learn more about this exciting project.

Thank you to everyone who attended Homecoming 2019!
