For the past four years,
Catholic University has worked with hundreds of Tucson area community members, including students, parents, teachers, principals, and business leaders to develop an innovative 4-year business degree. This BA in Management is affordable, giving students up to four semesters of internships and connecting students to gig work and CEO lectures as early as the first year. It is co-located on the PCC downtown campus and the Diocese of Tucson Pastoral Center with a hybrid program that only requires class 2-3 days per week. Catholic U –Tucson’s hybrid learning model combines online lectures with in-person discussions, maintains a small class size (never larger than 25) and allows students to learn directly from faculty in DC and instructors on the ground in Tucson. What Can I Study in College?The deadline to apply for the Pima College Foundation Scholarships is April 18. You must first apply to Pima College and be accepted. Some scholarships also require you to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available at

Seniors planning to study engineering or computer science can now apply for the
Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program, which awards $10,000 to 200 recipients, renewable for four years, along with summer internships with Lockheed Martin. Students will be selected based on academic record, financial need, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals, unusual personal or family circumstances. Preference given to those under-represented in the field of engineering as described in the application. The deadline to apply is next week -- April 1.

Sophomores and Juniors: Are you looking for a virtual summer experience with one of the nation’s top universities?
Carnegie Mellon University (PA) is a highly regarded institution offering a range of virtual summer programs for current sophomores and juniors. Some have a fee and others are free. Topics include: computer science, artificial intelligence, architecture, studio art, computational biology, design, the National High School Game Academy, and a unique writing and culture program that intersects humanities, arts and technology. The Perry Virtual Experience invites high school females to participate in a free, 3 hour interactive workshop to learn about careers in orthopaedic surgery and engineering. Sessions will be April 10 or 20, 2021. Participants will hear from women leaders in these fields and dive into online orthopaedic simulations and biomechanics experiments. Details at:
