On May 11, 2021, our JV LoL team competed in their first playoffs match. In the fall 2020 season, three of Salpointe’s four esports teams qualified for playoffs: Varsity LoL, Varsity Rocket League (RL) and JV RL.

This school year, due to the pandemic, teammates practiced and competed from their own homes. They communicated via Salpointe Esports’ own Discord channel and in-game chats.

The team’s esports athletes met in person for the first time on May 7, 2021, at Round 1, a multi-entertainment complex that offers bowling, arcade games, billiards, darts, table tennis, and refreshments. awards and varsity letters were announced and distributed.
