SCHEDULE CHANGES

Due to maximum enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year, schedule changes will be extremely difficult to accommodate. You may consult the Schedule Change Resource Board on myPointe after June 11 for more information. The window for requesting a schedule change is June 11 to June 18. Schedule changes cost $50.00.

TEXTBOOKS

Please review your class schedule on June 11. To determine which textbooks you will need, consult the 2021-2022 Textbook List, which will be posted on Salpointe’s website on the Textbook List Resource Board and as a “quick link” on the Academic webpage. You may purchase your textbooks from hundreds of available vendors online, such as Amazon and Abebooks, or through the links provided in the Notes section on the textbook list. Please do not purchase any textbooks until you receive your schedule.

BOOK SWAP

Salpointe Catholic will host the annual Book Swap on Saturday, June 12 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. in Foundation Hall. If you have books to sell or want to buy books, please join us that morning. Class schedules will be available on myPointe beginning June 11.  We encourage you to review the 2021-2022 Textbook List at that time and take advantage of the many online book vendors, such as Amazon and Abebooks, to purchase your textbooks.

Buyer Beware: Make sure that you purchase books based on the ISBN number included on the textbook list to ensure that you purchase the correct edition.

We have included links to publisher websites in the “Notes” section of the list.  If you are aware of families that either need or have textbooks for sale or swap, feel free to contact them directly. The school is unable to act as an agent or intermediary in any person-to-person exchanges.

SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS

Some courses have summer assignments. Review the Summer Assignments Resource Board in myPointe beginning June 11, 2021 to see if your courses require summer work.

COVID-19 VACCINATION

Salpointe will not require COVID-19 vaccinations this fall, but we strongly encourage students to get vaccinated. If/when your student(s) receives the vaccine, here are step-by-step instructions to upload the vaccination card to MyPointe. This data will help determine our progress in reaching a safe level of immunity on campus. Salpointe looks forward to having all students return to campus for mask-free, in-person learning in August. Families should consult with their physicians before seeking any medical treatment.

SENIOR PORTRAITS

Salpointe Catholic uses Rembrandt Photography as our official photographer. All seniors who wish to have their photographs in the 2021-2022 yearbook must have their pictures taken by REMBRANDT PHOTOGRAPHY between June 14 and September 24, 2021. Call NOW to make an appointment at 520-797-9200.  Students must be clean shaven when sitting for the senior photo.  Questions: contact Keith Shinaberry at kshinaberry@salpointe.org.  In order to provide a consistent, high quality yearbook, only pictures taken by Rembrandt will be printed in the Salpointe yearbook.

SCHOOL CALENDAR

The daily school calendar is accessible through myPointe. Click here for the 2021-22 School Year Calendar at a Glance.

SPIRIT STORE SUMMER INFORMATION

Spirit Store summer hours begin Monday, May 24. Summer hours are posted on the Spirit Store website. The Spirit Store will be CLOSED for the month of July as we make preparations for the 2021-2022 school year. The store will reopen Monday, August 2 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Pre-orders are now being taken online for uniform polos, which will be ready for pick-up during the Salpointe Book Swap on June 12. Visit the Spirit Store website and click on the Uniforms link. Make your selections (you do not need to note shirt size or color), pay for your merchandise and bring your receipt to the Book Swap. When you arrive, you can pick out colors and sizes in the store. Pre-ordering helps minimize your wait time on the day of the event! (Note: Uniform polos are always available for purchase in the store during regular store hours.)

Parking passes will be issued using the same online process as in years past. Students need to fill out a Parking Pass Request form on the Spirit Store website and pay $20 for a one-year pass. Students can come to the Spirit Store to pay for and pick up parking passes from Monday, August 2 to Thursday, August 5 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm., as well as during regular store hours throughout the school year. Students must have a 2021-22 parking pass to park on campus.

If you have any questions, please call and leave a message at 520-547-5889 or email the Spirit Store Manager at mwood@salpointe.org.  Messages are checked regularly.
