Salpointe Weekly Peek - September 2, 2022

Happy Friday, Lancers!

This week’s prayer is from Salpointe Legacy Ambassador Jim Flannery '66:
Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing upset you. Everything changes. God alone is unchanging. With patience all things are possible. Whoever has God has everything. God alone is enough. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us.

PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Hello Lancers,
Thank you for joining us for Back to School Night. We enjoyed having you on campus and sharing with you the exciting learning taking place in our classrooms each day.
As we discussed at Back to School Night, we are asking for your help to ensure that students attend school every day. Academic success is directly related to students being present and engaged in class daily.
COVID cases are rising in Pima County and we want to reassure you that we will continue to provide a safe learning environment for our students. Please note that you will likely see an increase in mask wearing on campus. While we are not requiring masks, we are encouraging students to wear them as needed and to continue frequent hand washing.

Have a great weekend,
Mrs. Martin

MyPointe
As discussed at Back to School Night, your sign-on to MyPointe will be changing after Labor Day to a single sign-on process that uses your email as your user name. You will receive two emails from the school: One will have instructions on how to complete this change and the other will be the invitation to accept this conversion. By September 27, 2022, all sign-on to MyPointe will be through this new process and your old username and password will no longer be active. All of our students have completed this transition. Also, If you need to make any changes to your contact information you can do so through your MyPointe account.

Parking Updates
Students: There will be no parking in the Quarterback Club parking lot off of Mountain Avenue on Tuesday, September 6. The last of our modular classroom buildings are scheduled for delivery. Once again, please park in the Glenn lot, the gravel lot on Cherry and Glenn, on the north side of Copper St or on streets in the surrounding neighborhood that are not "parking permit required” streets. Also, please be aware that the parking lot on Copper and Cherry is for teachers and staff only. Do not park there. You will be cited or towed. Thank you for your cooperation.
