Dear God, I come to you today humbly and gratefully that you have enabled me to have another day here with my friends and family. I have deep gratitude for you in my life. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us.

Attendance
Dear Parents,
Please call 327-1990 if your student is going to be late or absent.
Just a reminder of the protocols regarding late check in and early dismissal.
When you call for late check in, please make sure you remind your students to check in with Student Services. It will give us an accurate time that the student has shown up and what classes they missed.
For early dismissal, we request you call 1 hour prior to when you need your student to be dismissed. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs running passes to classes to get dismissed.
If the pick up time is within the last 1/2 hour of school, please avoid
the backups in the Glenn Street parking lot by picking up your student on Copper.

Character Counts
Our Character Counts commentary focused on the theme of Thanksgiving. Rylen discussed how the holidays can be viewed very differently due to the challenges and struggles found in life, but we can all benefit from expressing gratitude for those in our lives (The Gift of Gratitude). Albert continued the Thanksgiving theme and tied it into the concept of wellness. Gratitude can provide means to physical, emotional and spiritual health (Thanksgiving and Wellness).
