Salpointe Weekly Peek - January 6, 2023

Weekly Peek Prayer:

Phil Becker, Director of Campus Ministry

As we come to the end of the Christmas season we pray the joy of the gift of God’s only son Jesus will remind us daily to love God with our whole heart and to love our neighbor as our self. We pray that people go the extra mile like the Good Samaritan and that we make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us.

Absence Policy
Students are permitted 12 absences per semester per class. All school absences, whether approved by the parent/guardian or not, count toward the total of 12 unless it is a school-related activity such as field trips, AIA-sanctioned athletic events, fine arts performances, Kairos or class retreats.

Absence from class is when a student arrives 15 minutes after the class begins.

Parents/Guardians and students should use personal discretion as to how the 12 absences are used, e.g. doctor appointments, illness, college visits, family trips, club tournaments etc.

Students who exceed 12 absences in a class may be removed and lose credit from the course. Students would then be required to remediate the missed course in order to maintain their enrollment.
