Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Program
The Universal Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) is now officially an Arizona state law, allowing all families the opportunity to apply for ESA funds. These funds can be used to pay Salpointe tuition, regardless of home school district or annual income. The average ESA amount for the 2022-2023 school year is $7300 per student per year, awarded quarterly. Please note that ESA and tax credit funding cannot be used at the same time.
An ESA might benefit you if:
-You do not qualify for financial aid.
-You qualify for income-based tax credit funds but receive less than $7300/year in tax credit scholarships
An ESA will likely not benefit you if:
-You qualify for corporate tax credit funding.
The deadline to sign contracts for ESA funds for the third quarter is March 31, 2023. The application process can take up to 30 days so please apply at least one month prior to the deadline. Visit
https://www.azed.gov/esa/frequently-asked-questions for more information. If you have questions regarding Financial Aid, please email Salpointe's Financial Aid Manager, Theresa Lehrling, at
