Wishing You a Happy Easter!

May God shower you with blessings, love and peace. Have a happy and safe Easter weekend, Mrs. Kay Sullivan and Mrs. Ardemis Martin.

Weekly Peek Prayer:

Phil Becker, Director of Campus Ministry

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Risen Lord,
You are always in our midst, but we do not always recognize you. Call us by name, let us know you in the breaking of bread, so that we may follow you in your risen life. You live and reign forever and ever.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Assistant Principal for Student Services
Salpointe Catholic is pleased to announce that Keith Shinaberry has been offered and has accepted the position of Assistant Principal for Student Services for the 2023-2024 school year. Keith is fully prepared to excel in this role. His goals are to have Lancers look back on their student experience here at Salpointe as the best four years of their lives and to foster a sense of connectivity among students and between students and administration. He will balance empathy with accountability as he energizes the departments under his leadership: campus ministry, student activities, library, deans, health, testing, Community of Concern, Character Counts, Student Parent Handbook, etc. Keith was hired 2011 as Assistant Athletic Director and became Dean in 2018. We welcome Keith to the Executive Team.

We are most grateful to Patrick Hayes for his exemplary service in the role of Assistant Principal of Student Services since 2014 and we look forward to having Patricks's expertise back in our Theology Department. The position of Dean of Men will be posted shortly. We encourage qualified persons to apply as soon as possible.

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
Students are required to provide the Attendance Office (Student Services Center) with notification via note or phone call from the parent/guardian prior to leaving campus. Students MAY NOT leave campus without clearance by the Health or Attendance Office. Parents may not remove a student from campus without prior notification to the Attendance Office. Students being picked up with a dismissal slip should report to the Attendance Office (Student Services Center). Violation of this policy may result in an unexcused absence and disciplinary consequences may be imposed.

All early dismissal requests will be retrieved from voicemail. Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.
