Salpointe Board of Directors and Subcommittees
The Board of Directors serves as the policy making body for the school. Membership consists of four representatives of the Carmelite community and 16 members of the community at large. As trustees for the Carmelite Order, this Board oversees the mission effectiveness of the school, oversees its academic, operational and financial well-being and plans extensively for the future. The members of the Board of Directors include Rev. Thomas Batsis, O.Carm., Mr. Charles Bavier, Ms. Beth Brewer, Mr. Christopher Clements, Ms. Tracy Cracchiolo, Mr. Richard Elias, Secretary, Very Rev. Subcommittees of the Board of Directors
The Academic Committee works with school leadership to create and sustain the vision for Salpointe's present and future academic foundation.
The Advancement Committee advises the President and Director of Advancement in matters pertaining to fundraising, corporate and constituency relations, communications and marketing.
The Athletics Committee reviews all AIA activities and makes recommendations to the Athletic Director and the Board of Directors.
The Finance Committee advises the President regarding all matters pertaining to the financial management of the school. It also develops long- and short-term financial planning, reviews policy and procedures and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The Governance Committee conducts an annual evaluation of the leadership of the school, selects candidates for membership on the Board of Directors, presents the slate of officers to the Board of Directors and reviews the school's bylaws and operating documents.
The Investment Committee advises the school regarding the investment policy and the investment portfolio to meet long- and short-term strategic priorities of the school.
The Strategic Planning Committee creates and guarantees the implementation of Salpointe's present and future strategic plan.
The Student Services Committee reviews all Student Services programs and makes recommendations to the Principal, the Assistant Principal for Student Services and the Board of Directors.
