Weekly Prayer
Lord, please help me as I seek You, Ever in need of Your guidance and graces. Where You have gone ahead of me, May I come to see what Your love embraces. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.
General Announcements
Counseling Department Updates
Dear Lancer Parents and Guardians,
As outlined in our Salpointe Catholic High School Faithfully Building Our Future 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, one of our key goals is to expand student academic support services by strengthening counseling and college and career planning resources, ensuring every student has access to the tools needed for academic and personal success.
With this important goal in mind, I am thrilled to share exciting news regarding enhancements to our counseling program that will go into effect beginning with the 2025–2026 school year.
We will be expanding our class counseling team from four counselors to five, reducing the student-to-counselor ratio from 1:350 to 1:275. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Debbie Elkins, Class of ‘00. This shift will allow our counselors to provide more individualized attention, build deeper relationships with students, and more effectively guide them throughout their high school journey. National Spring Virtual College Fair
The National Virtual College Fair is on Sunday, April 27. This fair is a great opportunity for students to connect with college representatives from across the country, from the convenience of their computers. All high school students and families are welcome to register for this complimentary event and view the list of exhibiting colleges and universities.
Seniors
Senior College Decisions
May 1 is Lancer Decision Day and the national deadline for high school seniors to commit to their chosen college by paying an enrollment deposit. We are so happy to celebrate students who have been admitted to a variety of universities in Arizona, across the country and around the globe. On May 1st, Seniors can wear a T-shirt or sweatshirt of their future college to celebrate their future plans!
Students also must send in their college decisions and any scholarship received to Ms. McCall by May 1st. Each year we compile a list of colleges offering acceptance from those students who have sent us copies of college decision letters and we track this information closely. We also closely track total scholarships awarded. View the current Class of 2025 College Acceptances.
