The Carmelite Medal honors one male and one female student from the senior class who best exemplifies the true meaning of a Salpointe Catholic education. These honored students have consistently demonstrated the Carmelite charism of prayer, community and service.

The Valencia Award honors the life of Carlos Valencia ’06 and is presented each year to to a member of the junior class who possesses great courage and strength, especially in difficult times. Much like Carlos, the recipient goes about life in a selfless manner, understands the true meaning of community and inspires us to think beyond ourselves.
