President’s Message

Dear Salpointe Community,

It is with great gratitude, faith, enthusiasm, and sense of purpose that I begin my new role as Salpointe Catholic High School’s President. Serving as steward of this sacred school is a tremendous honor and I will strive each day to honor Salpointe’s mission, live our values, protect our legacy, and build a strong future for our community.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a major in Spanish from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. I know that these lessons will be invaluable as I lead our diverse community and manage the business aspects of the school. Eight years as the Director of Advancement have allowed me to participate in varied aspects of Salpointe’s operating and governance efforts. I have had the opportunity to work with many of you on critical projects such as accreditation, institutional fundraising, community building, strategic planning, financial management, and program development.

Salpointe has been a meaningful part of my life since I met my husband Tim (‘87) over 30 years ago, and I have marvelled at how the foundation of faith, richness of education, and support of community have benefitted him and our children, Emma ‘18 and Ash ‘20. It is with deep appreciation for and devotion to the Carmelite charism of prayer, community, and service that I begin this new chapter.

My heartfelt thanks go to Kay Sullivan for her many years of leadership, vision, tireless commitment, and sage advice. She has been a blessing in my life and in the lives of all Lancers. Her positive impact at Salpointe will never be forgotten. Once a Lancer, always a Lancer!

Salpointe is blessed with talented faculty members, strong leaders, supportive alumni, committed families, and a reputation for excellence and stability. As we begin working toward the goals outlined in the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, the school will only grow stronger. I am honored to celebrate Salpointe’s 75th Anniversary and lead us into the future.

Thank you for your support. Go Lancers!

Jennifer Harris, President
