This summer, dive into the hidden world of water at Salpointe’s 2025 STEM camp Science Beneath the Surface. If you are a rising 7th or 8th grader, love exploration and discovery, and want a hands on STEM experience, this camp is for you!
Students will learn about the vast world of life in and around our water systems, evaluate water pollution, test for microorganisms in the water, and harness the power of hydraulics.
STEM camp activities include:
- Analyze microbial DNA using PCR and gel electrophoresis
- Build mechanical arms that leverage hydraulics
- Explore ecology of ponds and waterways
- Test for pollutants in water resources
$550 per student. Register below! Dates: July 14-18. Space is limited to 20 students.
