Student Life

Student Services

Salpointe offers a number of services on campus for the benefit of students. Housed in the Sayre Stevens Student Center, the Student Services Department is responsible for a variety of programs and services, including admissions, attendance, campus ministry, counseling and guidance, college counseling, student discipline and student activities.

COUNSELING
The counseling department provides academic, personal and college counseling to all students. Counselors hold informative seminars regarding drugs and alcohol, depression, bullying, internet safety, playing sports in college, relationships, the college application process, paying for college and academic integrity. Salpointe's Peer Mentor Program brings together students who would benefit from peer support and carefully selected mentors in an effort to help students who are struggling academically, socially and emotionally.

DEANS
Salpointe Deans assist the students, faculty and administration in issues related to student behavioral expectations and conduct.

ACTIVITIES
Student clubs and student council (STUCO) are important parts of the Salpointe community. There are dozens of clubs at Salpointe with something for everyone.  STUCO serves as the student’s voice in the administration. They also plan and run events like winter formal, prom, parts of graduation and parts of homecoming.
“Since I started working at Salpointe I have experienced nothing short of exceptional kids and behavior from the students of Salpointe everyday. They have been respectful. friendly, helpful, on task. They are a joy to work with. Something right is happening here at Salpointe and in their homes.” ~Salpointe faculty
