Elyse Abbott ’05 has been named a Top 10 honoree for the 2026 Athletic Trainer Excellence Award by Perry Weather. Elyse received 176 nominations from athletes, coaches, parents, and colleagues who praised her unwavering dedication to every student-athlete. As Salpointe’s athletic trainer, she is recognized for her calm leadership in emergencies, long hours supporting teams, and inspiring students in the classroom to pursue careers in sports medicine and physical therapy.
