On January 1, 2025, three former Lancers showcased their incredible talent on the grand stage of the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, California, representing their teams and our community with pride. Lathan Ransom ’20, playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cruz Rushing ’22 and Elijah Rushing ’24, both representing the Oregon Ducks, demonstrated their athletic prowess in a thrilling matchup that ended with the Buckeyes clutching the victory with a score of 41-21.
Lathan, a key defensive player for Ohio State, has continued to excel at the collegiate level, making a significant impact on the game. Cruz and Elijah, both standout players for the Oregon Ducks, showcased their skills and determination, further solidifying the strength of Lancers in the world of college football.
As a community, we couldn’t be prouder of these former Lancers. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to their craft have brought them to one of the most prestigious college football games in the country, and we are excited to see what the future holds for each of them.
