Leo Gutierrez ’25 holds the record for most career goals with 158 (and counting), scoring over 37 goals for three consecutive seasons. Despite receiving MLS offers that would have allowed him to bypass his senior year, he chose to stay at Salpointe Catholic to graduate and pursue a fourth straight state championship with head coach Wolfgang Weber, assistant coach Gonzo and his teammates. As he navigates his future in soccer, considering both college and professional opportunities, he also has an offer from Pima Community College—where his older brother won a national championship.
