General Announcements

Schedule Changes
If you wish to request a schedule change, please note that only elective changes will be considered. Requests must be submitted to your counselor by 6 p.m. on Monday, August 10. If your request can be accommodated, a $50 schedule change fee will apply. Please note that, due to class sizes and other scheduling factors, we may not be able to fulfill all requests.
Back to School Night
Lancer Parents: Join us for Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 19, at 5:30 p.m. The program begins in Foundation Hall before parents follow their student’s class schedule to hear from each teacher and learn more about course curriculum, classroom expectations, and exciting projects planned for the school year.
Please be prepared to access your student’s schedule electronically on myPointe. Bells will signal class times and transitions throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing you! View the full schedule here.
School Supply Drive for St. Joseph Mission School
Help support St. Joseph Mission School in the Diocese of Gallup. The Diocese of Gallup is the poorest diocese in the United States and primarily serves Native American and Hispanic communities in New Mexico and Arizona. This fall, Salpointe students will serve at St. Joseph Mission School, and we invite our community to support their efforts by donating much-needed school supplies. Donations may be dropped off in Foundation Hall near the Spirit Store or in Room 207 through August 30. View the list of needed items here.
Navigating College Admissions: Monthly Parent Information Sessions
College Counseling invites you to join its virtual monthly informational series designed to guide your family through every stage of the college application process. Each session will focus on a different key topic, offering practical advice and valuable insights. The first session, College Planning Timeline, will be held on Wednesday, August 19, from 9-9:30 a.m. via Google Meet. Simply log in from home or the office, bring your questions, and connect.
Get Involved at Salpointe
As a Lancer parent, you are a treasured part of the Salpointe community, and we encourage you to get involved on campus. There are many ways to volunteer, from selling tickets or working in the snack bar at athletic events to helping at the college fair, assisting in the health office, or supporting the Lancer Men’s Breakfast or Lady Lancer Brunch. If you are interested, please complete this volunteer form. We’ll be in touch as needs arise. Thank you for your support.

Seniors

College Counseling Information for Seniors
College counselors will meet with seniors individually and during Community Period to provide guidance on the college application process. New this year, the University of Arizona application is available only through the Common Application. To help students get started, we’ve created a guide with tips for completing the Common Application that answers many of the questions students may have as they create and submit their applications.

Athletics

Quarterback Club Fundraiser is Still Open!
Did you know that Salpointe doesn’t have a football booster club? The Salpointe football program relies on direct fundraisers like the Quarterback Club, and every dollar makes a real difference for the freshman, JV, and varsity teams.
Quarterback Club members receive:
  • A reserved parking space in the Mountain St. lot for all home varsity games
  • Two tickets to every home varsity game (excluding AIA playoff games; however, your reserved parking space is still yours if the Lancers host a playoff game)
  • A Quarterback Club shirt
  • The opportunity to tailgate before every home varsity game with fellow Quarterback Club members (food and beverages are the responsibility of each participant)
The cost is $325, with $225 serving as a tax-deductible donation that directly supports the Lancer football program. Spaces are limited and fill quickly. Reserve your spot here.
