Salpointe Weekly Peek – August 8, 2025

Welcome back, Lancers!

Weekly Prayer

Loving God, as we begin this new school year, we ask for your blessings on all students, teachers, and staff. Fill us with your wisdom and grace to learn and grow together in faith and knowledge. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

General Announcements

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
If your student needs to leave campus early, please notify the Attendance Office at least two hours in advance to allow time for processing. You can call 520-327-1990 or email attendance@salpointe.org.
To ensure the safety of all students, the following procedures must be followed:
  • A parent or guardian must provide prior notification to the Attendance Office before a student may leave campus.
  • Students are not permitted to leave campus without clearance from either the Attendance Office or the Health Office.
  • Parents may not remove a student from campus without checking in through the Attendance Office first.
  • Students who are being picked up during the school day must report to the Attendance Office (Student Services Center) to receive a dismissal slip.
Failure to follow these procedures may result in an unexcused absence and/or disciplinary action.
Student Ill or Injured During School Day
Students who feel unwell or are injured during school hours must report to the Health Office (Room 107) to be evaluated by the School Nurse. If your student needs to go home or receive medical care:
  • The School Nurse will contact you directly.
  • The Nurse will notify Attendance when your student is being dismissed.
  • Parents must pick up their student from the Health Office, not the Student Services Center.
For pickup:
  • Use the small parking lot at the corner of Copper and Cherry.
  • Pull up to Gate 7.
  • Call or text your student or call the Health Office at 520-547-9395 upon arrival.
  • Your student will be escorted to your vehicle by the Nurse.
Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and our procedures smooth!

Confirmation Class Information
We are grateful to once again receive the blessing of the Diocese to offer Confirmation preparation classes to Salpointe students this school year.
The program is open to students who have already been baptized and received their First Communion. Additionally, students must provide proof of active parish registration with the parish where they plan to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
Once these prerequisites are met, students will be eligible to participate in the preparation classes.
An introductory meeting will be held in early September, and families will receive a follow-up email with full details.
