Parent Forum: College Planning & Notre Dame Admissions
Join us for a special Parent Forum on Wednesday, September 30, in Foundation Hall, where there will be two informative sessions:
6–7 p.m. | College Planning
Learn about important college planning timelines, researching colleges, applications, and ways to support your student throughout the process.
7–8 p.m. | Notre Dame Admissions
Hear directly from a University of Notre Dame admissions representative about the university and its admissions process.
Whether your student is just beginning to explore colleges or preparing to apply, this event will provide valuable information and guidance to help your family feel informed and prepared. Families are welcome to attend one or both sessions. We hope to see you September 30!
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences
Please join us for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 1, in Kalil Family Gym and Alumni Hall from 5-7:30 p.m. Please park in the Glenn Lot and bring a copy of your student’s schedule. Class counselors will also be available. Maps will be available upon arrival! View teacher locations

Salpointe Parent Association Annual Open Meeting
The Salpointe Parent Association will hold its annual open meeting on Wednesday, November 4 at 8:30 a.m. in the Carmelite Conference Room. All parents of current Salpointe students may attend. Please RSVP to Theresa Marquart at

Leadership Program Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tucson
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an all-expense-paid leadership workshop for students ages 14-18 in grades 9-12. Selected students from across Southern Arizona develop leadership skills, confidence, and character while making new friends and connecting with Rotary Youth Exchange students from around the world.
Each participant is sponsored by a Rotary Club. This memorable experience provides students with opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun while strengthening their leadership skills.

Hispanic Heritage Month Bingo
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with School-Wide Bingo, taking place September 21-October 16. Purchase a Bingo card for $1 in Room 312 or from any SHH member.
How It Works:
- Through October 16, a Hispanic figure will be featured on TVs throughout school each day.
- If the person appears on your Bingo card, mark their name!
- At the end of each day, STUCO will announce the featured person and share information about their contributions.
- Get a Bingo? Bring your card to Room 312 to claim your prize!
Why Participate?
- Learn about influential Hispanic figures who have shaped our society.
- Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month as a Salpointe community.
- Support Los Lanceros Folklórico Dance Company through Bingo card sales.

Navigating College Admissions: Monthly Parent Information Sessions
The College Counseling office hosts virtual monthly informational series designed to help guide families through every stage of the college application process. Each session focuses on a different key topic, offering fresh insights and practical advice. Simply log in from home or your office, bring your questions, and connect. Spirituality
Daily Mass and Prayer
All are welcome to join us for daily morning prayer in Salpointe’s Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel. Campus guests are asked to check in at the Glenn Street gate and the front office before proceeding to the chapel.
Daily Mass is celebrated Monday-Friday from 7:30-8 a.m. On Fridays, Mass is celebrated at 7:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Priory (no check-in required). Mass is not offered on all-school Mass days, late-start schedules, or days when school is not in session.

Senior Portraits
Attention, Seniors! To have your senior portrait included in the yearbook, you must have your photo taken at Rembrandt Studios. The deadline has been extended to October 10, 2026, giving you the opportunity to schedule your session during Fall Break!

KickStart U College Application Essay Writing Workshop
KickStart U is designed to help students tell their unique stories through compelling college application essays. Students will receive individualized guidance in an engaging environment that encourages reflection, creativity, and confidence.
The workshop will focus on college essay writing with experienced Salpointe English teacher Mr. Evans. College Counselors Ms. McCall and Ms. Evans will also be available to help students navigate the college admissions process.
