We are incredibly proud to celebrate Salpointe Catholic High School’s own Samia Posadas ’26, who received a special Recognition of Excellence from the City of Tucson in honor of her extraordinary achievement at the 2026 National High School Musical Theatre Awards — the Jimmy Awards.
The recognition was presented at Tucson City Hall by the Office of the Mayor. Samia’s mother proudly accepted the honor on her behalf.
The mayoral recognition celebrates Samia’s exceptional talent, dedication, and perseverance, as well as the pride her national accomplishment brings to Tucson and Southern Arizona. Her success is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when artistry, discipline, courage, and a community of support come together.
Congratulations, Samia! Your Salpointe theater family is so proud of you.
