Simone Smith ’29 Named Thermo Fisher JIC Finalist

Congratulations to Simone Smith ’29, a finalist in the 2025 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge!

Hosted by Society for Science and Thermo Fisher Scientific, this national STEM competition recognizes 30 outstanding students from across the country. Finalists will travel to Washington, D.C., October 24–29, to showcase their research and teamwork skills while competing for over $100,000 in awards.

Each finalist receives a $500 cash prize. Way to go, Simone!
