Letter from the Principal
Happy Friday, Lancers,
Today was a very special day here at Salpointe as our seniors gathered for their final All-School Mass. Moments like this remind us just how quickly time has passed and how meaningful their journey has been.
As they sat together one last time in this sacred space, it was a powerful reminder that the next time they will come together as a class to celebrate Mass will be at their Baccalaureate Mass at the Cathedral. We held each of them in a special way in prayer today, recognizing this as one of many important “lasts” they will experience in the coming weeks. Our seniors are deeply loved, and we are incredibly proud of the young men and women they have become.
We were also honored to welcome Bishop James Misko, the eighth Bishop of the Diocese of Tucson, to celebrate Mass with us. His presence made this already meaningful day even more special, and we are truly blessed to have had him on campus.
Our academic celebrations continue to roll in. Please join me in congratulating our National Merit Commended students: Carolina Gonzalez, Colt Koontz, Liana Tang, and Michelle Yap…an outstanding accomplishment that reflects their hard work and dedication.
And finally, it is with great pride that we share a remarkable achievement. Baron Hurst has been named a finalist in the prestigious MathCON National Student Math Competition. Competing against thousands of students across the country, Baron has demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical talent. This recognition places him among the top young mathematicians in the nation, an incredible accomplishment.
To all of our scholars, stay strong…we only have a few weeks to go until finals!
Sincerely,
Ardemis Martin
