Weekly Prayer
Holy God, shape the hearts of all within Catholic schools. Instill virtues of honesty, kindness, courage, and humility. Guide students to choose what is right, even when it is difficult. Help educators model integrity and compassion in word and action. May Catholic schools be places where character is formed through faith, service, and love. Strengthen consciences to reflect Your truth, and empower each person to live as a faithful witness to Christ in the world. Amen. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Pray for us.
General Announcements
During Catholic Schools Week, we gathered for our Award Breakfast to recognize Lancers who make a difference through their kindness, character, and authenticity. They are the students who lift our community simply by being themselves, and our campus is better because of them. Congratulations to our award recipients, and Happy Catholic Schools Week! College decisions are rolling in for our Seniors. Please keep track of your college applications and decisions in Scoir – this is the way we track your college applications and acceptances. You must list the colleges you have applied to, and update your decision in Scoir. Reach out to your College Counselors with any questions. Explore available scholarships and learn about financial aid to help pay for college.
Juniors
Juniors, mark your calendars. The ACT will be offered on campus on April 24 from 8-11 a.m. in Alumni Hall. Taking the ACT as a junior helps establish a baseline score, reduces test-day stress, and supports college planning in a familiar environment. Registration is required. View flyer here.
