Seniors Thomas Walsh and Gisella Valencia have been named National Merit Finalists, placing them among the top academic students in the nation. In addition, 66 Lancers were recognized by the College Board National Recognition Program, and members of the Class of 2026 were honored as Salpointe Scholars for exemplifying the highest standards of scholarship and dedication.

New Resource Board for Tuition Payments
A new Resource Board for tuition and fee payments is now available. The board is still called “Pay Tuition and Fees,” but the tile now reads “Blackbaud Tuition Management.” Click the board to go directly to your tuition statement, where you can view your balance and make payments.

Note on Remaining MySchoolBucks Balances
Manual refunds are not issued at the end of the school year. Leftover funds are donated to the Student Lunch Assistance Fund. These funds will be used to support families in financial need in our community. We encourage you to monitor your balance through the MSB app and plan your deposits accordingly as the year concludes. If you require a refund, please contact the Finance office at 520-547-1951.
Dress Swap & Shop
Future Female Leaders and Hispanic Honor Society invite you to donate your dresses and join us in Foundation Hall on March 27 from 6–8 p.m. to find a super cute dress, all for free. Enjoy yummy snacks and spend the evening being thrifty with your fellow Lancers. Bring your dresses to Rooms 901 or 312 anytime before Friday, March 27. All leftover dresses will be donated. View flyer here.
Beads of Courage 2026 Pi Day Polymer Bead Making Festival
Join us for a special Pi Day tradition making beads for Beads of Courage on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at 3301 N. 1st Ave., Tucson, AZ 85719. Your time and creativity will bring joy to the brave children supported by this incredible program. We are grateful to the Long Realty Cares Foundation for generously making this volunteer opportunity free for all participants. Choose a bead-making session and help make courage roar for kids coping with serious illness.
Students may also choose an “art cards to go” option for an additional five volunteer hours. Those selecting this option are asked to bring a $5 donation to support the program. Contact Ms. Owens with any questions about receiving school credit hours. Let’s make a difference together. Register here.

Spirituality

Prayers for Kairos 309
We invite you to lift up the leaders and retreatants of Kairos 309 in prayer as they prepare to depart March 26. May every participant be granted an open heart to receive divine guidance and be blessed with a season of spiritual transformation.

All are welcome to join us for daily morning prayer in Salpointe’s Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel. Campus guests are asked to check in at the Glenn Street gate and the front office before proceeding to the chapel.
Daily Mass is celebrated Monday-Friday from 7:30-8:00 a.m. Mass is not offered on all-school Mass days, late-start schedules, or days when school is not in session.

Juniors

Get Out of Town Workshop Invitation
We are hosting an upcoming Get Out of Town Workshop for students interested in applying to colleges out of state and navigating the college planning process on April 12. While the presentation is geared toward juniors, students and parents from any grade level are welcome to attend.
You can also view information on upcoming SAT and ACT test dates, along with preparation resources, here.
ACT for Juniors
The ACT will be offered on campus on April 24 from 8-11 a.m. in Alumni Hall. Taking the ACT as a junior helps establish a baseline score, reduces test-day stress, and supports college planning in a familiar environment. Registration is required. View flyer here.

Fine Arts

Stories that Soar! High!
Stories That Soar! High! celebrates the magic of storytelling on stage, featuring stories written by the talented young playwrights from St. Peter and Paul and St. Joseph Catholic Schools. With unforgettable characters, heartfelt moments, and laughter around every corner, this production invites audiences to dream, feel, and be inspired. It’s a joyful experience for anyone who loves theater and the power of imagination. Bring the whole family on March 13 at 6 p.m. in Corcoran Theater. Purchase tickets here.

Athletics

Celebrating Elyse Abbott – Vote for Athletic Trainer Excellence
Salpointe’s own Elyse Abbott, AT, ATC, ESSAT-C, has been nominated for the 2026 Perry Weather Athletic Trainer Excellence Awards, which recognize athletic trainers dedicated to the health, safety, and success of their student-athletes and programs.
Elyse has served the Salpointe community for nine years, supporting our athletes. Her commitment to caring for Lancer athletes and helping them perform at their best has made a lasting impact on our community.
The next step in the process is public voting, and we invite the Salpointe community to show their support. Voting is open through March 27, 2026, with winners announced on April 15. Vote here.
Happy National Athletic Training Month, and thank you for supporting the important work athletic trainers do to keep student-athletes healthy and safe.
