Salpointe Weekly Peek – April 24, 2026

Weekly Prayer

Loving Father, If I awakened today wondering what will be, May I look for the guidance of Your Spirit in me. If today I experience loneliness, May Your Son’s compassion fill the emptiness. If in body, mind, or spirit is pain, May I turn to You for hope sustained. If the answer to a prayer occurs, May I be grateful that every prayer is heard. If I fail to seek You in all that I do, May the desire to serve You be renewed.  Amen. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us.

General Announcements

DUI Awareness Week
Dear Lancer Community,
I wanted to follow up and share that our DUI Awareness Week was incredibly meaningful. Our students engaged thoughtfully, and the message, “One Decision Matters,”  resonated. We are proud of the way our Lancers showed maturity and care for one another throughout the week.
As we head into Prom, we hope it is a fun, memorable, and safe celebration for all. One simple step we encourage families to consider is downloading the Uber app on your student’s phone to ensure they always have a safe ride option if needed.
We also spoke with students about the dangers of texting and driving. This is not just a student issue; it’s a community one. Our children are always watching us, and we have a responsibility to model safe, focused driving every time we get behind the wheel.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership and for reinforcing these important messages at home. Wishing all of our students a joyful and safe Prom weekend.
With gratitude,

Ardemis Martin
Principal

Graduation Speakers

As we look ahead to graduation, we are proud to recognize two exceptional seniors who will represent the Class of 2026 as this year’s graduation speakers: Presley Frank and Liana Tang.
The selection process for graduation speakers is both thoughtful and rigorous. Students begin by submitting a formal written proposal to a committee of faculty and staff. From there, finalists are invited to deliver a mock speech, where both the strength of their message and their stage presence are carefully considered.
After reviewing this year’s submissions and presentations, it is clear that Presley and Liana embody the voice, spirit, and leadership of the Class of 2026.
We look forward to hearing their words as they help mark this important milestone for our graduates and our community at Salpointe Catholic High School.
Congratulations, Presley and Liana!
