Salpointe Weekly Peek – August 22, 2025

Weekly Prayer

Br. Kevin Flores
Today, on the memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we offer this prayer for Our Brother Roberto’s Ordination, for his vocation and for the whole Carmelites community:

Almighty God, who has given us as Mother and Queen the Mother of your only Son, grant that, protected by her intercession, we may attain the glory of your children in the kingdom of heaven.

In the Carmelite spirit, we ask that you continue to call more of your faithful to lives of service for those most in need. We pray that you grant Roberto, on the occasion of his ordination to your priesthood, Elijah’s love and zeal for you and for Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Grant each of us the grace to joyfully unite ourselves in faith to your saving mystery, so that, with the guidance of the Queen of Heaven, we, like Elijah and Roberto, may say “yes” to your will and presence in our lives.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Pray for us
