Socktober Sock Donation Drive
IT’S SOCKTOBER, LANCERS! This month, National Honor Society is hosting a sock donation drive to support the Kino Border Initiative (KBI), a vital organization that provides aid to migrant families stranded at the border. Although recent policy changes have reduced immigration numbers, KBI continues to serve dozens of families each day—families in urgent need of basic essentials. With limited funding, even simple items like sturdy socks make a big difference.
Here’s how you can help: donate new, durable socks (all sizes welcome) now through November 7. Students can drop donations in one of five boxes located on the lower level of the 900 Building, each representing a different NHS group. The box with the most donations wins a prize for that group!
Share a pair, show you care!
