Message from Principal Ardemis Martin
At Salpointe Catholic, we believe that our strength as a community is measured by how we care for one another, especially in times of uncertainty. We want our families to know that you are never alone. If you are experiencing hardship or food insecurity, please know that you remain in our prayers and in the heart of our Lancer community.
In the words of the Diocese of Tucson Interim Superintendent, Angelina Schmidt, “As Catholic educators, we are called to uphold the dignity of every child and family entrusted to our care. The loss of SNAP benefits and the government closure places an immense burden on many of our families, threatening their access to basic necessities. It is our moral and spiritual responsibility to respond with compassion and action.”
As a Carmelite community, we are grounded in prayer, community, and service. Together, we can be a source of hope and stability for one another by connecting families to resources, advocating for their needs, and ensuring that no child in our school community goes hungry or unsupported.
Attached, you will find a
Resource Guide for Families, which includes local food assistance programs, community outreach centers, and other support services. Please do not hesitate to reach out if your family needs assistance.
With love and support,
Ardemis Martin
Student Parking Policy Reminder
Salpointe requires that all students who park motor vehicles on campus display an official parking permit. Please remember that parking on school property is a privilege, not a right, and is granted only to licensed drivers.
Failure to follow established parking and safety regulations may result in the revocation of on-campus parking privileges. Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas or without a valid permit are subject to citation and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
Students who park off campus must also follow all City of Tucson parking laws. Vehicles in violation of city regulations may be ticketed accordingly.
The safety of our campus community remains our top priority. Thank you for doing your part to keep our environment safe and orderly.
Students needing a parking permit should contact Ms. Wood in the Spirit Store. Dirt lot passes are still available. You can find the Parking Pass Form
here.
Thank you for your cooperation.
