Salpointe Weekly Peek – April 17, 2026

Weekly Prayer

Lord Jesus, Remembering Your Passion, may I follow where you lead, and though I may be fearful, find in You the strength I need. When I am burdened or distressed, please roll away the heavy stone so that I may feel You with me, not abandoned or alone. Risen Savior, You appeared, but unrecognized at first; when I fail to see Your face, in Your love my heart immerse. Amen. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us.

General Announcements

DUI Awareness Week
Dear Lancer Community,
As we approach Prom and this celebratory time of year, our focus naturally turns to the safety and well-being of our students. While these conversations often surface around major events, the reality is that this is not just about Prom; it is about life, and the decisions our young people make every day.
During the week of April 20–24, Salpointe will observe a DUI Awareness Week, centered on the theme: “One Decision Matters.” When you entrust your children to us, you invite us into a partnership, one that we take to heart. We are deeply committed to walking alongside you in guiding our Lancers to make responsible choices.
Throughout the week, we will engage students in meaningful and impactful experiences designed to bring awareness to the real and lasting consequences of impaired and distracted driving. A wrecked car displayed at the entrance of our campus will serve as a powerful visual reminder of how quickly one decision can change lives. While we will continue to emphasize the dangers of texting and driving, our primary focus will be on the very real and devastating impact of driving under the influence.
