Salpointe Weekly Peek – November 7, 2025

Weekly Prayer

Vocations Awareness Week

God of good will, We ask that You inspire each of us to follow Your will more closely, And for each of us to find the joy of our vocation. We pray especially for those who are discerning a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. May all of us have the strength to listen for Your quiet voice moving in our lives, And may we cultivate hearts of service directed towards You. We make this prayer in Your Holy Name, Amen. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Pray for us.

General Announcements

Devices Down, Relationships Up: Cell Phone Policy Update
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your continued support of our cell phone-free initiative. As shared previously, this three-week period allows us to refine our procedures before implementing the schoolwide policy in January.
Next week, on Wednesday, November 12, and Thursday, November 13, students will turn in their cell phones during their first-period class. Phones will be securely stored and returned to students at the end of the school day.
If a student needs to leave campus early for an appointment, their phone should be turned in to Student Services before reporting to first period. Athletes who leave early for games or practices should turn in their phones to the Athletics/PE Office before first period so they can retrieve them later without disrupting class.
We will be discussing this plan with students on Monday so they are fully aware of the expectations before Wednesday.
We truly appreciate your partnership and understanding as we work together to promote “Devices Down, Relationships Up!”

With gratitude for your support,

Ardemis Martin
