Director of Service Learning,Ms. Jessikah Eller '01 B.A. Northern Arizona University (Religious Studies and French) M.Ed. Northern Arizona University (Secondary Education) Ms. Eller is responsible for facilitating service learning through IMPACT service days and school curriculum alignment to the social justice themes of the church. She encourages teachers and students to live out the mission of the church in their daily lives by advocating for the the poor and vulnerable, building a sense of solidarity, advocating for the dignity of the human person, and promoting stewardship of the earth. Ms. Eller is appointed by and reports directly to the Principal.
Director of Counseling,Mr. Scott Evans M.Ed. University of Arizona - (School Counseling) B.A. CA State University, Chico - (Exercise Physiology) The Director of Counseling is responsible for managing the counseling department in student development, course scheduling, student registration, college readiness, and intervention. He collaborates with administration in the implementation of student academic guidelines. He guides the counseling department in the sub-coordination of the PSAT, ACT and SAT assessments and coordinates the “Community of Concern” parent forum and academic recognition ceremonies. Mr. Evans is part of the regular sophomore – senior rotation. The Director of Counseling reports to the Assistant Principal for Student Services.
Director of Admissions, Mr. Michael Fisher M.A. San Diego State University (Kinesiology) B.S. California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Kinesiology) Mr. Fisher is responsible for all aspects of the admissions process, including developing and implementing recruitment strategy; guiding students and families through the admissions process; tracking and reviewing candidate applications; and engaging in effective community outreach to expand the School’s reputation and admissions penetration in the Tucson area. Director of Athletics,Mr. Phil Gruensfelder B.S. University of Arizona (Biology and Physical Education) Certified Master Athletic Administrator Mr. Gruensfelder is responsible for managing the athletic program both extra and intra mural for the school. He provides leadership, direction, and interpretation of the current rules, policies, procedures, and mission of the school and of the Arizona Interscholastic Association. He represents Salpointe at all meetings of the AIA, Southern Region, and 5A Division. He acts as a liaison among the faculty, coaches, parents, and administration, facilitating disputes and interpreting and enforcing all policies of the school.
