    Open House

    Families are invited to attend sessions presented by our talented faculty; meet current students; enjoy performances by our jazz band and theater troupe; and learn about honors and advanced placement courses, our signature Humanities and STEM programs, athletics, extracurricular activities and how Salpointe Catholic will help you get into a great college.

    Financial Aid Applications Open

    Families can apply for Financial Aid for the 2023-2024 school year.

    Apply at www.fairapp.com and use school code 800 and school password ctso800.  Our financial aid application due date for maximum consideration is January 15, 2023.

    Notification of awards will be sent a few weeks after the Admissions letters.

    Step Up Day for 8th Graders

    Step-Up Day - December 2, 2022, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

    All interested 8th grade students are encouraged to attend our Step-Up Day at Salpointe Catholic. The annual Step-Up Day provides an opportunity for 8th graders to spend a day on the Salpointe campus and experience Lancer life firsthand. Attendees will be treated to a sample class schedule, free lunch, Lancer entertainment and a free Lancer t-shirt.

    Class of 2027 Entrance Exam - Current 8th grade students

    All prospective 9th Graders must take the Entrance Exam.  An Application must be completed and submitted in order for the student to take the Entrance Exam.

    8th-Grade students attending a Catholic Middle School will take the Exam at their Catholic Middle School in November.

    Student-Parent Interviews - Class of 2027

    The interviews are required for all prospective students.  The student and at least one parent/guardian need to attend.  Other family members are invited to attend, but it isn't required.

    The Parent-Student Interviews take place on January 9, 10 or 11, 2022, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  The interviews take about 10 minutes.  You do not need to RSVP for the interview, simply drop-in on one of the dates listed between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

    Recommendation Forms and Transcripts Due

    Salpointe Catholic communicates with all middle schools to get these completed.  Please view your student's online checklist in myPointe to request transcripts and recommendations.  Parents can also see when these have been received by Salpointe Catholic through the myPointe system.

    Admission Decision Notification - Class of 2026

    For the Class of 2027, students who have completed the online Application, taken the Entrance Exam, and have completed other parts of the checklist; their decision will be posted on Friday, January 27, 2022, at 4:00 pm.  Log into myPointe to see the decision.

    Transfer Students are notified individually.

Salpointe students come from varied backgrounds. Today's student body of 1,250 mirrors the ethnically diverse population of Southern Arizona. Half of our students come from Catholic K-8 schools and half from public, charter and other private schools. About 75% of our students are Catholic and 25% are of other faiths. More than half of Salpointe students receive financial aid.
