Shop. Donate. Volunteer.

Established in 1983 the Salpointe Thrift Shop is the little shop that makes a big difference. Proceeds from sales average $30,000 a year, which benefit Salpointe Catholic High School! The Thrift Shop not only brings in needed funds for Salpointe, it gives those with limited budgets a lovely place to shop at very affordable prices.

The shop is open six days a week and sells used clothing, household goods, furniture and miscellaneous items. Staffed by parents, past parents, alumni and friends of the school, funds are dispersed to the school to be used where the need is greatest.

Donations for resale are accepted during store hours. Pick-up service for large items is available by calling the store at 520-327-5576.

The shop is located at 1705 E. Ft. Lowell in Tucson (520-327-5576) and is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

To volunteer contact Sandra Velasquez at 520-975-0467 or Ree Wolken Garigan '69 at 520-885-5595.

  • Lancer Mom Volunteers to Help Those in Need

Meet Sandra Velasquez, loyal volunteer at the Salpointe Thrift Store since her son started school at Salpointe 21 years ago!

"The reason I took the job as manager of Salpointe Thrift Store is because the job has purpose. It helps those in need. Salpointe Thrift Store's first priority is to support the children that need financial help to be able to attend Salpointe Catholic.

All proceeds that come from the store go directly to Salpointe...So much goodness comes out of the donations that are sent to us it is what makes this job so very fulfilling."

Please remember to shop, donate or volunteer at the Salpointe Thrift Store. All donations will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

Salpointe Thrift Store is open 10-4 Monday-Saturday. If you have large furniture items call the store at 520-327-5576 we can send a truck to pick up the items for you.

Thank you to Sandra and all the volunteers at the Salpointe Thrift Store! Stop by and see them to shop, donate or volunteer at 1705 E. Ft. Lowell.
  • Long-Time Volunteer Enjoys Meeting Store Patrons

The next time you stop by Salpointe's Thrift Shop, be sure and say hello to volunteer Bobby Munoz who has worked at the shop for more than 36 years! He says working at the shop is "a ministry all to itself," and he enjoys meeting the "melting pot" of people who shop and make donations at the store.

Bobby has especially enjoyed meeting Salpointe alumni, such as Frank Naughton '57 who spoke with him for over an hour and helped reinforce his family's decision to send their daughter, Giselle, to Salpointe.

Hats off to Bobby and all Salpointe volunteers who give their time, talent and treasure to our incredible community!
