School Philosophy

Salpointe is a Catholic school guided by the Carmelite tradition of education in the context of prayer, community and service.

The learning environment is shaped by faculty and staff dedicated to exemplifying and teaching a life-long commitment to academic, intellectual, spiritual, physical, social, artistic and emotional growth.

Salpointe explicitly calls on one another, students and educators alike, to demonstrate conscious awareness of God’s loving presence; to respect the inherent dignity of each person; and to seek to live our shared promise to act justly and compassionately as servant-leaders in an ever-changing world.

Carmelite Values

Prayer, Community and Service

The Carmelites of the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary, in allegiance to Jesus Christ, live in a prophetic and contemplative stance of prayer, common life, and service. Inspired by Elijah and Mary and informed by the Carmelite Rule, we give witness to an eight-hundred-year-old tradition of spiritual transformation in the United States, Canada, Peru, Mexico, El Salvador, and Honduras.
