Salpointe Weekly Peek - September 16, 2022

Happy Friday, Lancers!
This week’s prayer is from Salpointe campus security guard,
Steve "Pops" Preble '73:
Lord Jesus, protector of all; help us to embrace the past, enjoy the present and look expectantly to the future. Amen. Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pray for us.
Dear Parents,

Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 12. This is the day we will be administering the PSAT to all of our freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Students will arrive at school and report to their homerooms promptly at 8:10 am. The test should not take longer than 3 hours. Students are free to leave and begin their Fall Break at the conclusion of their test.

There are no makeup days, therefore attendance on this day is imperative.

While we will be conducting review sessions during our homeroom classes, it is also important for our students to begin preparing on their own.

  • Paint (more than 1/3 can)
  • Batteries (rechargeable, small button, lithium, car) - please separate items
  • Electronic waste (computers, cables, printer cartridges, no CRT monitors)
Bring your hard to recycle items to the back side of the Science wing (600s) on Saturday, October 1, from 10:00 am-noon. Enter through the Glenn gate. Salpointe will collect items and ensure they are properly recycled through the City of Tucson’s HHW program
