Salpointe is committed to helping ensure that admitted students have the opportunity to attend Salpointe Catholic High School, regardless of economic circumstance. Please do not let the cost of tuition deter you from considering Salpointe Catholic High School. 50% of Salpointe’s student body receives some form of financial aid.

Salpointe Catholic High School strives to make a holistic, Catholic, college‐prep education a reality for families from all corners of Southern Arizona. Regardless of economic, academic or ethnic backgrounds, 98% of Lancer graduates attend college. We encourage all students to apply for admission to Salpointe even if they have questions about their family’s ability to pay full tuition.

2023-2024 Tuition & Fees Information
Salpointe Catholic High School has a New Student Tuition and a Returning Student Tuition.  New Student Tuition is for students who will be attending Salpointe Catholic High School for the first time and will include the cost of a Chromebook.  Returning Student Tuition is for students who have completed the 2022-2023 school year at Salpointe Catholic High School.
  • New Student Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $12,100.  Tuition for new students includes the cost of the student’s Chromebook, which will be distributed in August at Orientation.
  • Returning Student Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $11,660.
The Blackbaud Tuition Management program collects tuition on behalf of SCHS.  Tuition will be billed to your tuition account in mid-June 2023.  Balances are due on the first of each month and are considered late after the 10th.  A $40 late fee from Blackbaud Tuition Management is charged each month on balances over $250.  Salpointe Catholic does not have the ability to adjust or waive late fees assessed by Blackbaud Tuition Management.
Registration fees are $300 for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. The fee covers student admission to Fine and Performing Arts and Athletic home events, yearbook, and spiritual retreats. The registration fee for seniors is $525 and includes all the items above, as well as graduation and Kairos.  The registration fee will be paid through the tuition contract in myPointe.
Families are required to purchase their student's textbooks and uniforms.  Other fees, such as AP Test fees, will be paid by parents through Blackbaud Tuition Management's shopping cart.  Participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities may also require fees.

  • How do I apply for Salpointe Financial Aid?

    You won’t know if you qualify unless you apply. The application for Financial Aid is separate from the application for admission, although the two application cycles do overlap. First, apply for admission to Salpointe if you are a prospective student. 

    For the 2024-2025 school year:

    Applications open on November 1, 2023.  All incoming freshmen and transfer applicants, please apply by January 19, 2024.  The late application deadline is April 19, 2024.

    Families applying for Financial Aid must complete the Financial Aid Independent Review (FAIR) application.  School Code:  800    School Password:  ctso800.  Click here to view application instructions.

    Once you submit your application and supporting documents, look for an email from FAIR confirming that your application is complete.  Please contact the Financial Aid Manager at accountmgmt@salpointe.org for assistance.

  • What is the deadline to apply for Salpointe Financial Aid?

    PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to wait until you receive an acceptance letter to apply for Financial Aid.  We encourage all families to apply immediately.

  • What kind of Salpointe Financial Aid is available?

    Salpointe can provide Financial Aid through a variety of funding sources: Salpointe’s Financial Aid Endowment, Salpointe’s General Financial Aid Fund and Tax Credits designated to Salpointe through the Arizona State Tax Credit Program.   • How is Salpointe Financial Aid awarded?

    Salpointe Financial Aid is awarded to current and newly admitted students on the basis of demonstrated need, as determined by factors such as income, family size, assets and liabilities. Families are required to reapply on a yearly basis through FAIR for Financial Aid consideration. Use School Code: 800 and School Password: ctso800 when applying.
     

  • What is the average Salpointe Financial Aid award?

    Salpointe Financial Aid award amounts are based on need and determined after reviewing all applications. Award amounts generally range from $500‐$6000. Please contact the Financial Aid Manager at accountmgmt@salpointe.org for more information.
     

  • Are there additional Financial Aid sources available?

    Salpointe strongly encourages its families to pursue additional funding opportunities that may be available for your student through Arizona Individual and Corporate Tax Credits and other Financial need‐based School Tuition Organizations (STOs). Please visit websites for actual application deadlines. Below is a list of recommended STOs that work closely with Salpointe and its families.

    A School Tuition Organization cannot award, restrict or reserve scholarships solely based on a donor's recommendation. A taxpayer may not claim a state tax credit if the taxpayer agrees to swap donations with another taxpayer to benefit either taxpayer's own dependent.

  • What is the ESA Program?

    The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, which began in 2011, is the new frontier in school choice.

    ESA was expanded in 2012 to include students in failing schools, foster care children and children of military personnel, in addition to special needs students.

    The average ESA amount is $7,500.
     
    Who Qualifies?
    In order to be eligible for the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program for the 2023-2024 school year, a student must reside in Arizona.

    Please note that if you are accepted into the ESA Program and receive an award, you cannot combine that award with any other Financial Aid, Scholarships, and/or Tax Credits. If you are seeking financial aid, scholarships and/or tax credits for less than $7,500, the ESA program could be a better option for you. If you are seeking more that $7,500 in financial aid, scholarships and/or tax credits, please do not apply for the ESA program.

Salpointe Merit Scholarships

Incoming Freshmen are considered for a $1,000 Freshmen Year Merit Scholarship. The scholarship is based on the student's Entrance Exam (HSPT) scores. All incoming freshmen who are admitted to Salpointe in the first admissions round are evaluated for a merit scholarship. Please note, the Merit Scholarship is for freshman year only.

Please join us in the Click Family Library for a presentation on Arizona Tax Credits given by the Institute for Better Education (IBE).
IBE will provide helpful information on how to utilize the Arizona State Tax Credit Program to fund your student's tuition here at Salpointe.

Arizona Tuition Connection - Scholarship Coaching Sessions

Do you have questions about what scholarships your family can receive?  Learn how there are scholarships available for all students in low, medium and high income families.  It is not too late to receive funding; Arizona Tuition Connection does not have any application deadlines! This one hour training will give you the education and tools you need to be successful in maximizing your scholarship awards. Every parent should plan on attending! We will meet on campus in the Click Family Library.
