Salpointe Catholic accepts a limited number of transfer students each year. All transfer students join at the beginning of the school year — we do not accept students mid-year or mid-semester.*
Sophomore and Junior transfer applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher with no F or D grades on their transcript. Junior applicants are only admitted to the Fall semester. Transfer students are accepted based on space and course availability. In the case of a former student reapplying, the student and their parents may be required to meet with the Principal before beginning the readmission process. We cannot guarantee admission.
Senior transfers are rare at Salpointe unless one is transferring from another Catholic High School out of the area, or, for students returning to Salpointe, or, as a result of a hardship (which is defined by Salpointe as an unforeseeable, unavoidable, and uncorrectable act, condition, or event, which causes the imposition of a severe and non-athletic burden upon the student or his/her family).
Our Transfer Application Process for the 2024-2025 school year begins in February 2024. Decisions are ideally made in mid-June but can occur as late as early August. If you are interested in getting information for the 2024-2025 school year, CLICK HERE to be added to our mailing list.
*If you are moving from out of state mid-year with a job transfer, or have other special circumstances, please contact the Admissions Office for further discussion.
