Transfer Students

Salpointe Catholic accepts a limited number of transfer students each year. All transfer students join at the beginning of the school year — we do not accept students mid-year or mid-semester.*

Please note our Policy on the Admission of Students.
  • Sophomore and Junior transfer applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher with no F or D grades on their transcript.  Junior applicants are only admitted to the Fall semester.  Transfer students are accepted based on space and course availability.  In the case of a former student reapplying, the student and their parents may be required to meet with the Principal before beginning the readmission process.  We cannot guarantee admission.
  • Senior transfers are rare at Salpointe unless one is transferring from another Catholic High School out of the area, or, for students returning to Salpointe, or, as a result of a hardship (which is defined by Salpointe as an unforeseeable, unavoidable, and uncorrectable act, condition, or event, which causes the imposition of a severe and non-athletic burden upon the student or his/her family).
Our Transfer Application Process for the 2024-2025 school year begins in February 2024.  Decisions are ideally made in mid-June but can occur as late as early August.  If you are interested in getting information for the 2024-2025 school year, CLICK HERE to be added to our mailing list.

*If you are moving from out of state mid-year with a job transfer, or have other special circumstances, please contact the Admissions Office for further discussion.
