All Salpointe Students invited to Commencement
All Salpointe students are invited to attend the Commencement of the Class of 2024 on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the TCC Arena. If you would like to attend, pick up a ticket from Mrs. Roche in the Principal's Office.

Spirituality

Steubenville West Conference
St. Thomas the Apostle is extending an invite to Salpointe teens to come to Steubenville West, one of the top Catholic Conferences in the United States, from July 12-14 at TCC. Spots are limited and first-come, first-serve. Cost is $220 and includes the conference fee, two nights at Hilton DoubleTree, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday and a t-shirt. Don't miss out! Celebrating Our Seniors on Their College Acceptances and Scholarships!
Seniors have earned $24M in scholarships! Congratulations on your acceptances to over 220 colleges and universities across our state, country, and internationally. You have made your Lancer community so proud
 
Final Steps for High School Transcripts and College Plans
After teachers submit final grades, it will take time for transcripts to be finalized. Your final high school transcript will be sent to the one college you’ll attend as marked in your Scoir account. You do not need to request a final transcript. If there is a change in your plans, and you need a final transcript sent somewhere, please email tmccall@salpointe.org. More information inside the final College Newsletter for the Class of 2024 regarding lockers, diplomas and sending in testing scores.
 
Order Graduation Photos
Attention all Seniors and Parents: Rembrandt Photography will be in attendance at our graduation to take photos of our seniors as after they walk across the stage. Please see the attachment for more information. For any questions, please contact Rembrandt directly at 520-797-9200.

Kickstart U College Application Workshop
Do you need a “Kickstart” on Your College Application Essay? The  College Application Workshop is an innovative program designed to help students tell their unique stories to the colleges they aspire to attend. Our program employs proven strategies for developing a winning application packet. Our workshop size is limited to 12 or fewer participants to ensure that all students receive the attention they deserve. Our program is designed to meet the needs of students who intend to apply to out-of-state schools and competitive universities and programs.
 
Upon completion of the Kickstart U College Application Workshop, Students Will Have:
-Multiple Application Essay Drafts
-Toolkit for Polishing Successful Application Essays
-Personal Feedback on Essay Drafts
-Brag sheet and Academic Resume Support
-The Common App Preparation Support
-Tools for Finding the Right Schools and Scholarship Opportunities

Financial Aid

Financial Aid Independent Review (FAIR) - 24/25 School year - Applications now open!
You can apply to FAIR at www.fairapp.com using Salpointe's School Code: 800 and School Password: ctso800. Please note: although applications are submitted through FAIR, all funds come from Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO). Please be sure to select the correct school year when applying.

Arizona Leadership Foundation (ALF) - now accepting applications for 24/25!
Arizona Leadership Foundation offers Low Income and Disabled/Displaced tax credit scholarships.
Please utilize the ALF Online Portal to submit your scholarship application. 2023 Federal Income Taxes (IRS Form 1040) are required with each application. If filing an IRS extension, please view the tip sheet for additional directions. Incomplete applications for both programs will be rejected. The Tip Sheet and Scholarship Flyer provide additional information. Supplemental Forms can be found on the ALF website, click HERE. If eligible for both Low Income and Disabled/Displaced, an application must be completed for each program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact ALF: 
A new application must be completed each school year. Deadline to apply is June 17, 2024.

Spirit Store

Have any Salpointe gear you'd like to donate? Seniors cleaning out their closets? You can always drop off your gently used Salpointe uniforms or outerwear in the Salpointe Spirit Store on campus or at the Salpointe Thrift Store at 1705 E. Fort Lowell Rd.
 
Summer Closure: June 21-July 19th, opening July 22nd for 2024-2025 school year.

If you have a Gift Card from last year or older, please be sure to redeem your balance by the end of this month. New Gift Cards are available and make great gifts! Students that have ordered club shirts are reminded to pick up their orders in the Spirit Store as soon as possible.

Repeat Announcement

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
Attendance Line number is 520-327-1990.
Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. All early dismissal requests are retrieved from voicemail. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.
 
Used Truck Needed
Have a used truck you’d like to donate? Salpointe needs a 2015 or newer, open bed truck with less than 50,000 miles. If you would like to donate it to Salpointe, please contact Todd Schulte at tschulte@salpointe.org. Thank you!
 
Salpointe Thrift Shop
